Batey Girls was established in 2017 by the nonprofit organization Batey Rehab Project (BRP) to provide economic opportunities for women and girls escaping human trafficking, exploitation and domestic violence in the Dominican Republic. 100% of the proceeds from the jewelry brand benefit the nonprofit that provides holistic care for women and their children, including shelter, reproductive and mental health support, nutrition, education, parenting support, legal counsel, prosecution and advocacy services, faith and community.
