- Our Story
One of our favorite birthday bracelets, this neutral beauty truly tells a story. Angela has been a loyal advocate for Batey Girls and has always wanted to make her own Birthday Bracelet. She has shared her story of family through this bracelet and it is simply stunning.
In this bracelet you will find one single Larimar bead surrounded by crystal quartz chips. There are four (4) crystal quartz chips on one side and six (6) crystal quartz chips on the opposite side, signifying Angela's 46th Birthday. The two lapis lazuli beads represent the Sapphire, which is the birthstone of September. Following this single lapis lazuli are 3 multi-aventurine beads on each side, followed by a symbolic fourth bead on either side. The single cherry quartz bead represents Angela's 4 year old daughter and the single crystal quartz chip represents the birthstone of April and the fourth month when Angela's first granddaughter, who will be born in 2023. Celebrate Angela's 46th birthday this year with a beautiful bracelet that not only shares her story but the story of girls escaping human trafficking in the Dominican Republic.
Knowing the power behind every bracelet, Batey Girls is proud to present our Birthday Bracelet Collection. This collection features one-of-a-kind bracelets that have been designed by our women and girls and inspired by people who wish to donate their birthday to raising funds to support our cause. Choose a donation amount of $25, $50, $75 or $100 and receive a one-of-a-kind bracelet. Or buy multiple bracelets for a minimum donation amount of $25.
Advocate by definition is a person who publicly supports a cause. At Batey Girls we have seen what is possible through the design, creation and sale of a simple bracelet. A bracelet that is made by the hands of survivors, that empowers HER future and that allows consumers to advocate for the voiceless.
